What do you think about Step One College?
This school is a good school. All teachers really like teaching and I love
the school’s atmosphere. It’s a very friendly place. I studied for 3 months
before extending for another month.
진심으로 교사라는 직업을 즐길줄 아는 훌륭한 선생님들이 모인 좋은 학교
였습니다. 모두가 친구처럼 지낼 수 있는 친근한 분위기도 마음에 들었습
니다. 처음에 3 달 등록을 하고 아쉬워서 1 달을 더 연장했지만 왜
더 길게 연장하지 않았는지 후회 할 정도로 좋은시간을 보내게 해
해 준 학교였습니다.
What class did you begin in?
CALLAN book 3
CALLAN Book 3 를 처음 시작해서 book 4 를 끝냈습니다.
How has your English improved?
At first, I could only speak simple sentences like “Hi, how are you?” but I’ve learnt
so much by applying myself, and now I can chat with my friends in English.
처음에는 영어로 “안녕하세요”처럼 간단한 문장밖에 말하지 못했는데
선생님이 말씀하시기를 그대로 반복하고 단어들을 문장으로 익히고 수업시간에
집중해서 듣는것만으로도 지금은 영어로 친구들과 잡담도 할수 있는 정도로
영어가 늘었습니다.
Please write about your impression of your course?
CALLAN was the first English course I took in Australia. At the time of enrolling, I
never imagined making overseas friends as I wasn’t confident that I could speak
English well. My teachers and classmates were supportive of me, they helped
face my fears with English. CALLAN was totally different from our countries’
schooling method. CALLAN taught me listening and speaking skills with correct
grammar and I enjoyed learning with funny and thoughtful teachers.
I was so lucky and I loved my time at LETS!
CALLAN은 호주에 와서 제가 처음으로 선택한 코스였습니다. 저는 고등학교를
졸업하고 바로 왔기 때문에 경험도 별로 없었고 단지 학교에서 영어공부를
한게 다였기 때문에, 다른나라 친구를 사귄다거나 영어로 잘 대화할 자신도
없었습니다. 그렇지만 시간이 지나면서 선생님과 친구들의 도움으로 적응할 수
있었고 특히 CALLAN 수업자체가 한국에서처럼 어려운 문법부터 배우기
보다는 말하기와 듣기를 배울 수 있었기 때문에 지루하지 않게 즐길 수
있었습니다. 이렇게나 친절하고 재밋기까지 한 선생님들과 이렇게 재밋고 새로
운 수업을 할수 있었던건 저에게 정말 큰 행운이었습니다.
